Bornprettystore.com Review Items

Hello readers,
today I'm going to be sharing with you some new items I was sent to review by Bornprettystore.  They also shared with me a discount code AIJW10 for 10% off the website.
Now I always love the items that you can purchase from here (I've bought many items with my own money too) and the prices are so cheap!  Delivery can be a few weeks but I'm happy to wait for items that are of the same quality as items located in your country.  Bornpretty also ship world wide and don't charge any postage.

Let's get into what I have to review with you this month:

So this time I got to pick out 5 different items and I can't wait to use them.

Now you might have seen these doing the rounds on social media.  Everyone knows about liquid latex or similar that girls have been applying around their nails to aid clean up, but that can take two coats and you have it's drying time too.  How about having an instant peel off protector like these?  I love the idea of these and it was the first item that I asked to try.  I don't have a whole lot of patience for applying two layers of latex to my fingers and I also noticed that if you had it applied to all 5 fingers on one hand there was a chance of sticking slightly to your other fingers (please tell me I'm not the only one to have done that?!)  So I'm hoping when I try these out they work out better for me.

Item two is some really cool holographic stencils.  They are really unusual in that you get 9 circle stencils and three tip stencils.  My plan for using these will be to have the accent nails done using the tip stencils and then use the circles to do the rest as a full design.

Third item is also a little unusual.  These remind me of pre cut striping tape but this is mutli coloured and also it is not perfectly straight but rather cut in an irregular pattern. These just get peeled off, cut to size and stuck to your nail.

Next is a small square stamping plate and as I'm sure you can tell I've been playing around with this one already!  It's a large mandala flower shape and is so pretty!  Watch out for a tutorial coming soon using this one.

Last item of the bunch is a second stamping plate.  This is one of the larger rectangle sized plates and it has a mixture of snowflakes and lace type patterns on it.  I don't think it is meant to be snowflakes but I just pick up that impression from it when I look at it.  It's got some really nice patterns on it.

That's all the review items I have to share with you.  Watch out for plenty of up coming tutorials using them.  I also decided to buy the BPS gold and silver chrome effect powder and I have a toenail video coming up using the silver.

Thanks to BPS for sending me these review items and thank you for reading.
Until next time,
Lyn

New Review Items: bornprettystore

Hello readers,
once again quite a bit of time has passed since my last blog.  Been busy with extra hours at work and I'm also getting ready to move house at the end of the month so I think I can be forgiven :)

In today's blog I am going to share with you the most recent items I got sent for review by Bornprettystore.  I always love trying out their products as I've yet to find anything bad from them and enjoying using their items.  They also sell items for a really good price and who doesn't love a bargain?

Here is my pick of items.  I got some gold heartbeat and V shaped stickers, colourful feather water decals, a pot of glitter and full nail water decals.  If you would like to see the items in closer detail then feel free to watch my video showing you everything:

I have been working my way through using the items and I am actually just about to record one using the glitter so stayed tuned for that popping up soon!  I already filmed a tutorial on using the full nail water decals and you can check that out here:

These were really easy to use and I liked the design choice.  It's a quick and easy way to cute nails.  If you do want to buy anything on the website you can feel free to use my 10% off code AIJW10 (I don't earn anything for you using it, just in case you wondered)

A short blog this time but as I said I've got lots to do and not enough time to do it in!  Thank you all for reading and I will see you in the next one.

Nail Goodies!

Hello hello!

Recently I received a nail art package from BornPrettyStore which was sent to me for review.  Although I've received this for nothing I'm giving you my honest feedback on what I'm using.  I don't want anybody spending hard earned cash on something I say is good when it isn't. Now that's out the way let's get into the goodies shall we?

  • Small gold bow decals
  • Striping brush
  • Nail stencils
  • Shell stickers
  • Water decals
  • Gel polish and magnet
Now I really do love the items I get from BPS and I also have bought quite a lot from there with my own money too.  It's affordable but still great quality.  The only downside is that orders can take a few weeks to arrive but personally this doesn't bother me.  If I need something quickly I would look for a UK seller (and pay more money for the privilege too!)

I was really excited to try out this soak off gel polish that is in the Cats Eye series.  Honestly this picture does not do the product justice.  The effect was amazing and so hard to capture it on camera.  This comes in 12 different colours and 2 different sizes.  I filmed me using it on my Youtube Channel so feel free to see it in action and you can also hear my thoughts on the product.  Love it.

Next item I tried out was the shell stickers.  They were out of stock of my first choice of colour but this one is really pretty too.  They come in different shapes and sizes and I choose to do a toe nail design to use them.  I can't remember the last time I actually did an art video for my toes.  I'm not going to lie, it's a lot of work reaching down there to do them haha.  I liked my end result.  I applied a black base, sponged red on the tips and then applied the stickers over the big toe.  Simple and effective.  There will be a tutorial on my channel coming very soon for this.

The last item that I reviewed (as of writing this blog) was the striping brush.  I will link the video here so you can see all my thoughts on it.  One thing I did notice was the picture on the website shows the brush as thinner than the one you get.  A little annoying but it did still produce thin lines and was easy to work with.  Have a look at the video:

If you would like to see the video showing all the items I received then you can find that right here:

Before I sign off on this blog for today, if you do want anything from the site you can use AIJW10 for 10% off.  I don't earn anything from this, just sharing some discount with you all.

Thanks for reading!

Review: bornprettystore.com

Hello readers!
Well the holiday is over and it's back to work :(  On the plus side I got some new items to share with you all from BornprettyStore  They also gave me a 10% off code AIJW10, so if you do fancy treating yourself to a few things, feel free to use it.  They do more than just nail art items, however that is the only items that I will be reviewing.

The items I choose were: a set of full nail stickers, silver stickers, a ring pallete, a stamper and scraper set and finally some silicon putty stuff for picking up rhinestones and gems.

I was keen to try out these stickers.  I love the design on them.  You get two sets of stickers and they range in size from 10mm up to 17.5mm.  Find the size that fits your nail.  If you can't get an exact fit, choose a slightly bigger one and then trim the sides down to fit.  You can find the item HERE and it comes in different options.

To use the sticker you peel off a top film and then using tweezers carefully peel off the silver tab at the top and your sticker comes free.  Next is the only tricky bit of the application; you have to place the sticker with the rounded edge at the cuticle and then gently smooth out over the entire nail.  This can get a little tricky to avoid any bumps especially if you have quite curved nails like I do.
Fold down any excess over the end of your nail and gently file to remove it and your super cute manicure is complete!  I do recommend you add a top coat just to help the manicure last longer by sealing the free edge in.  I really liked this product, but I do need a bit more practice on smoothing the design out completely.  You can check out my video of this manicure on My YouTube

These stickers are different to the first I showed you.  These ones need cut to your desired shape and the black that you see is just the backing paper and the actual sticker is hollow.  I think this would make a great accent nail design or even if you cut it into small strips for part of a nail design.  You can find it HERE and once again there are different options to choose from.

Now here is an interesting little item!  This block of pink silicon is actually for picking up your rhinestones and gems.  You can find it HERE  Checkout my review video to see how you use it by cutting a piece off and wrapping it round the end of an orange woodstick.

Next up we have a stamper and scraper set.  This is one that has the see through top so that you can see exactly where your stamp is going on the nail!  Cannot wait to try this out.  I will have a video up soon for it.  I don't use stamping too much and one of the reasons for that is being unable to accurately place the image in the same place on each nail.  I think this little gem could change all that though!  If you would like one yourself, you can find it HERE.

Last item is this super cute paw shaped ring pallete.  Now I know there will be people out there just like me, that when you are doing some dotting you look for the nearest object to hand that will suitably hold polish while you dot.  No..?  Only me then.
Well now I don't have that issue anymore thanks to this cute ring.  It's easy to hand and I can put any colour of polish on it that I want to use and easily clean it up when I'm done.  Genius!  Want one for yourself?  You can find it HERE.

So that's all the items I have for sharing with you today.  Thank you very much to BPS for sending me these items to review.  Though I have gotten these at no cost to myself, I can assure you that I will always give you my honest opinions on items.  Keep an eye on my YouTube channel for upcoming videos using and demoing these items.

Thanks for reading,
Lyn
